The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front of House POS Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the café’s Point of Sale (POS) system while providing outstanding service to guests at the counter. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys interacting with people.

Key Responsibilities

• POS Operation: Accurately process orders and payments using the café’s POS system.

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide menu recommendations when needed.

• Accuracy & Efficiency: Ensure correct pricing, special requests, and order modifications are reflected in the POS system.

• Team Support: Communicate order details promptly to the kitchen and barista teams for smooth service.

• Inventory Monitoring: Report low stock items or supply issues to the management team.

• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized counter area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle busy service periods with a calm and positive attitude.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
